Massage Cupping (MC) is a highly effective self care tool as well an integral part of preventing the two most common challenges LMT's face; burnout and injury. Whether you use Massage Cupping primarily for selfcare or integrate it into your practice massage cupping equipment and education is an affordable investment in the quality of your life.
In this class, students will learn a brief history of Cupping and Suction Therapy, contraindication & cautions, what the marks are, how to work on LMT's problem areas, intro to current cupping trends & equipment, how and where to apply cups pertaining to your own selfcare, and why you might want to introduce massage cupping to your practice and clients. You will practice the cups on yourself throughout this class.
Registration Options: We are offering Jason Abbey's classes at a discounted group rate if you register for both classes at once, versus taking each individual class.
